Our Team

At Station House Children’s Day Nursery we strive for an exceptional standard of care and education
. To achieve this we aim for all our staff members to be either qualified or working towards the completion of a recognised qualification (NNEB, BTEC, NVQ3). All members of staff will hold a minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification, and are subject to DBS clearance through OFSTED.

In the National Day Care Standards, it is dictated that all day care settings must operate to a basic staff:child ratio. These are:

• 0-2 years – 1:3

• 2-3 years – 1:4

• 3-5 years – 1:8

At Station House Nursery we aim to achieve a higher staff to child ratio at all times. It is our intention to appreciate and award our members of staff for all the hard work they do within the nursery. Staff will hopefully enjoy working at Station House Nursery and this should keep staff turn-over to a minimum, resulting in a close, friendly and familiar team, offering the children in our care continuity and a stable environment. Station House Nursery also has a firm commitment to on going training and staff will be encouraged to participate on a regular basis.
